The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national level scholarship examination to be conducted by National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) by offline mode. This exam comes in existence in 1963 under the guidance and control of NCERT. This exam is conducted under 2 stages. The 1st stage exam is conducted by the respective state and the 2nd stage exam is conducted by NCERT. The students of 10th standard are only eligible for NTSE Exam.

The online process will be available on the official portal of the NCERT authority. The State Liaison Officer will help the candidates regarding the NTSE 2018 application form submission process.
Educational Eligibility: The candidate from regular or open school education must be studying in 10th class and do not have any kind of reappear in any subject.
Age: The maximum age limit is 18 years for both regular and open school students.

The scholarship will be given to those students who want to study in professional courses like in Engineering, Medicine, Management, Technology, Commerce, Humanities, Science, Law, and other higher study programs in UG, PG programs.
The stage one exam will consist of the syllabus of IX and X class. And For Stage 2nd the NCERT 10th class syllabus will be preferred. However, there is no any exact prescribed syllabus provided by the authority. But the candidate needs to study following topics and cover full syllabus up to higher secondary level as per NCERT books.
